On March 5, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, Colonel General Oleksandr Dublian held a meeting with Deputy Director of the Centre for Corruption Risk Reduction in the Defence Sector (CIDS) Col. T.Kvalvik.

The parties discussed results of the Project on reduction of the corruption risk in personnel management system of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine in 2017.

Colonel General Oleksandr Dublian stressed importance of the assistance of the Government and the Ministry of Defence of the Kingdom of Norway, in particular, in the framework of the Joint project on corruption reduction in personnel management system of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

Foreign experts stressed significant progress in reforming of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine in implementation of charity development standards and corruption risks reduction.

„Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has made significant progress in implementation of integrity building standards in 2017”, Colonel Kvalvik said emphasizing trust-based cooperation and openness.

During the meeting the parties exchanged views and prospects for continued cooperation between the Ministry of Defence and the CIDS under a new 2019-2021 Project related to building integrity, anti-corruption, and procurement.
